GOMOKU is a free online Gomoku game for desktop and mobile browsers.
Choose a nickname and create a room without installing anything or signing up. Share the invite link or 6-character code with a friend, then start when both players are ready. You can also use Quick match to find a waiting opponent.
Black and White take turns placing stones on a 15 × 15 board. In Freestyle, connect five or more horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to win. In Exact five, six or more do not count as a win. Neither rule applies double-three or double-four forbidden moves.
Start an AI game whenever you want to play solo. Turn on Coach help and pick an empty spot to explore the move's purpose and a possible continuation of up to 3 moves. The preview is just one possible line, and a stone is only placed when you press the move button.
Tap a spot, check it in the magnified preview, adjust one intersection at a time if needed, then press the move button. With Coach help on, selecting a spot asks the coach about that move.
Review completed online games in My game records. Your nickname and online records are linked to the session cookie in this browser. Deleting the cookie removes your access to those records. They are not automatically linked across devices, and AI practice records only last for the current screen session.
