Play Gomoku with a friend — one link

Create a room and send the link; that is all. Your friend opens it and joins without signing up, and you both play on the same board from desktop or mobile.

Start from one invite link

Choose a nickname and create a room to get an invite link and a six-character code. Send the link in any messenger, or read out the code.

Your friend opens the link and enters the room with no sign-up; the game starts when you are both ready.

Desktop and mobile browsers join the same room, so nobody has to install an app.

Set the clock and rules when you create the room

Choose a 3, 5 or 10-minute clock; every move adds 5 seconds.

Exact five is the default, and you can switch to Renju, Freestyle, Caro, Swap2 or Renju with the official opening.

Under Renju only Black is barred from double-threes, double-fours and overlines, so newcomers may prefer Exact five or Freestyle.

During the game and after it

Talk over the in-game chat while you play.

When the game ends, tap Play another game; once your opponent accepts, the next game starts in the same room.

Finished games are saved as records you can replay or share by link.

Common questions

Does my friend need an account?

No. Opening the invite link takes them straight into the room without signing up. If the link is hard to open, they can join with the six-character invite code.

What if I have no one to play with?

Choose Quick match to find an online opponent waiting with the same clock and rules. When nobody is around, practise against the AI.

Can two people play on one device?

Yes. Choose Two players, one screen to alternate Black and White on a single device. It starts right away, even without an online connection.
